about the real estate salesperson program

The Real Estate License Program provides the perfect training for those students planning to enter the real estate profession, as well as opportunities for those currently working in real estate and related areas to increase knowledge in this field. MiraCosta's Real Estate Program has moved to Community Education and Workforce Development and will no longer offer college credit. However, the duration of the course has been shortened to 4 months and 150-hours and includes testing preparation and the opportunity to take the real estate exam at the end of class.

Tuition
$350 per course, or save and sign up for all three courses for $900. Sallie Mae Financing Available for this course.

Course Length
Complete this program in just 18 weeks. Offered twice per year.

Hours of Instruction
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30pm–9:30pm AND one Saturday per month 8:30am-4:30pm

If students attend all classes, complete the necessary coursework, and pass the required tests, students will receive: A MiraCosta College Certificate of Accomplishment.

Blair Haven
Real Estate Salesperson Instructor

Mr. Havens’ previous experience includes a successful career in the residential lending industry as a loan officer and independent broker. During his years as a mortgage broker, Mr. Havens built a large clientele based on strong customer service and professionalism. Prior to the lending business, Mr. Havens worked in the professional sports industry for the Anaheim Ducks and the Home Depot Center, where he was a top producer in their respective sales departments.

Blair Havens is currently an Associate with the Lee & Associates - North San Diego County office in Carlsbad, CA. He specializes in the sales and leasing of commercial investment properties representing Buyers, Sellers, Landlords and Tenants. Mr. Havens is active in all parts of San Diego County.
