about the osha course

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is an agency of the Department of Labor. OSHA’s mission is to “assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.”

Our OSHA-10 is a standard general industry safety course.

The OSHA-30 hour general industry outreach training course is a comprehensive safety training program designed for anyone involved in general industry. The course provides extensive information on OSHA compliance, safety and health hazards in the workplace, employer responsibilities, worker rights, and hazard recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention.

Completion of enrollment documents. Students must be at least 15 years of age. The OSHA-10 is intended for entry-level workers, while the 30-hour course is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility.

Successful completion of these courses results in a Department of Labor OSHA General Industry safety card (10-hour or 30-hour) that is federally recognized in all 50 states and doesn’t expire.

Russell Levy
OSHA-30 Instructor

Russell Levy has a BA from University of Alabama and a law degree from Tulane. He worked in the legal field for over seven years before going into sales and later non-profits and education. Russell was the employment director at Veterans First and currently is chairman of the board at Veterans Transition Support. He has coached 250 clients in the last three years and is teaching Lean certification training throughout Southern California.
