The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is an agency of the Department of Labor. OSHA’s mission is to “assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.”
Our OSHA-10 is a standard general industry safety course.
The OSHA-30 hour general industry outreach training course is a comprehensive safety training program designed for anyone involved in general industry. The course provides extensive information on OSHA compliance, safety and health hazards in the workplace, employer responsibilities, worker rights, and hazard recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention.

OSHA-10: $95. Tuition is FREE through the DOL funded America’s Promise Grant. NOTE: A $90 charge to cover administrative and certification costs will be collected upon registration
OSHA-30: $250. Tuition is FREE through the DOL funded America’s Promise Grant. NOTE: A $155 charge to cover administrative and certification costs will be collected upon registration

OSHA 30 hour is held one time per year in the Spring Semester
Completion of enrollment documents. Students must be at least 15 years of age. The OSHA-10 is intended for entry-level workers, while the 30-hour course is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility.
Successful completion of these courses results in a Department of Labor OSHA General Industry safety card (10-hour or 30-hour) that is federally recognized in all 50 states and doesn’t expire.

Wesley Horton is a retired Marine Corps Motor Transport Warrant Officer. He has over 20 years of safety and instruction experience. He has taught more than 600 classes to 21,000 students, covering subjects such as maintenance facility safety, personal protective equipment, hazardous materials and waste handling, hazardous communications, operational risk management, heat injury prevention, driver safety, crane operations safety, and accident investigation.
