about the blueprint reading with gd&t courses

In this 30-hour hands-on class students learn to read and correctly interpret blueprints used in the manufacturing trades. They will get an opportunity to draw and edit simple blueprints through step-by-step development of multi-view drawings. In addition, students will learn the basics of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). This course is the perfect introduction to GD&T, symbols, applications and methods of inspection.

Tuition $250 Tuition is FREE through the DOL funded America’s Promise Grant. NOTE: A $150 charge to cover administrative costs will be collected upon registration.

If you successfully complete a program under 50 hours, we can issue a certificate for $15.

meet your instructor

Jack Abram

Mr. Abram has spent 22 years working in various Engineering capacities with Rockwell Collins in Carlsbad.  Moving from an Engineering Technician all the way to Senior Manufacturing Technician, his industry experience makes him a great fit for any of the MiraCosta TCI advanced manufacturing and engineering courses.  Jack has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management, but a lifetime of experience as an engineering geek.
