Electromechanical technicians combine knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits. They install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electronic and computer-controlled mechanical systems. This hands-on course is an introduction to this field, focusing on small components, such as 3D printers, and larger units such as copiers.

John Palmer is a Veteran of the US Marine Corp and has spent 19 years as a technician within San Diego. He has primarily worked for Xerox, troubleshooting and repairing fax machines, copy machines, and printers. In addition, he has developed and conducted training courses, oversees the service team and daily operation of eight sites.
